Services Offered

The Law Office of Eric C. Rajala practices primarily in the area of consumer and small business bankruptcy law, on behalf of individuals and small business owners in Kansas and Missouri. We also represent creditors in bankruptcy-related matters.

We offer the following services to clients in financial distress:

  • Advice and counsel concerning the client's financial condition;
  • Review of the options available to the client, including a detailed explanation of the different forms of bankruptcy relief; and
  • An evaluation of each option, in light of the client's current financial and personal situation, and the client's goals for the future.

For those clients who need bankruptcy relief, we offer the following services:

  • We file individual and joint (husband and wife) consumer and small business Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings in Kansas and Missouri, to obtain immediate relief from debt;
  • We file individual and joint (husband and wife) consumer and small business Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings for Kansas residents only, to reorganize and repay debt and to retain property; and
  • For corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies (L.L.C.s), we file Chapter 7 liquidation and Chapter 11 reorganization cases in Kansas and Missouri.

At this time, we do not handle Chapter 13 filings in Missouri.
